The Sheffield Stars Club are delighted to announce a new British Champion amongst its ranks after Veteran Chris Turner was Crowned British over 40′s Champion this afternoon
Hot on the tails of Elle Sullivans success last month in the Girls Under 13 Championship Chris rode a commanding performance to take the title on a damp afternoon in Wolverhampton. The big open spaces of the East Park track were well suited to Chris’s powerful style as he rode unbeaten by an opponent to take the title
Rockets coach, Mick Knowles, said: “He was absolutely on fire today and fully deserved his victory.”
Everybody at the club would like to congratulate Chris on his success and welcome another British Champion into the fold.
